In the latest IPL 2022 developments, RCB finisher Dinesh Karthik has been reprimanded for breaching Indian Premier League’s Code of Conduct. The incident took place during Royal Challenger Bangalore’s Eliminator match against Lucknow Super Giants on 25th May at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

Karthik scored 37 runs off 23 deliveries while Patidar put up a brilliant century in his name and helped the team to secure a place in the 2nd Qualifier against Rajasthan Royals.
As a result of his impressive performance in the IPL, Dinesh Karthik has been picked for India's T20I squad selected for the 5-match home series against South Africa in June.
